Red Panda Rhino and Elephant Tour

Red Panda, Rhino & Elephant Tour: From the colourful grasslands of Kaziranga National Park to the beautiful mountains of the Himalayas in the north, you can see some of India’s most famous animals, like the Red Panda and the Greater One Horned Rhinoceros.

The Red Panda is a very cute animal that lives in the mountain forests of West Bengal’s Singalila National Park. This is the best place in the world to see these interesting animals. A safari tour into the Rhododendron and Mixed High Altitude forests of the Singalila Ridge is a sure way to see the Fire Fox along with a host of almost 300 unique and rare birds of East India. Kaziranga National Park, on the other hand, is one of the best places in Asia to see wildlife.

This place gets a lot of attention because it is the last place on Earth where the Indian Rhinoceros can live, and it is easy to see them there. In fact, life here thrives in the watery glades that make this park so interesting. You won’t see as many animals anywhere else in Asia as you will here! Take a tiger safari India tour to these amazing parks to learn about some of the most unique animals in the Indian Subcontinent.

Nature Safari India organized our private 2 Weeks Safari in Central India plus a couple of Sightseeing and we are very happy to having choose this agency. I found them on the responsible tiger tourism association (TOFTigers) and I liked them from the very first contact. From the first email more than two years ago to the end of our trip in April 2022, the service was great, the selection of the itinerary, Parks, lodges and guides was perfect. And this although the very difficult travel situation due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Our trip had to be postponed and rescheduled twice (we were supposed to travel at the end of March 2020), Mr. Deepkul was always very professional, competent, responsive and helpful with all my requests and he went the extra mile. We had a wonderful time in India, we saw a lot of tigers and wildlife, and we hope to come back soon. We warmly recommend Nature Safari India to everyone and in the future, we’ll surely book another tour with them.

We did 5 days of safaris with Sharad Vats's team, in Kanga and Pench, in April 2022. Right from the planning to the actual execution, Sharad was accessible, knowledgeable and helpful, to ensure we got a good experience. Not only was the itinerary planned and tweaked multiple times to suit us, but our accommodation and food needs were also taken care of well. We enjoyed the trip immensely, especially because Sharas understood that we were not just after tiger sightings, but enjoyed birds and trees and other wildlife too, and recommended an itinerary accordingly. The accommodation and food was great. And my particular need of a wifi connection even in these remote areas (because there was a study commitment I could not miss) was also met. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing and totally unforgettable trip to India organised by Nature Safari India, in particular Deepkul (and previously Manjeet). I organised the trip 2 years ago just as the pandemic hit, I had been communicating with Nature Safari India constantly for quite a few months until we finalised on an itinerary, nothing was too much trouble and replies to queries were almost instant. When it came to the actual holiday, all we had to do was get to New Delhi. (As a warning it isn't straightforward to get visas anymore) From then on all was taken care of. We were met at the airport and were looked after from that point, including checking us into the hotel and providing a car and driver for our exclusive use until we left New Delhi. We were driven from each location by drivers who looked after us incredibly well, stopped/slowed down if we wanted to take pictures, they also pointed out interesting sites as we passed. If you have time, I would recommend travelling by car to different locations, as you see a lot more of India. Deepkul monitored us through our whole holiday, checking that we were OK, getting reports from each of our guides and making sure we were happy with our holiday. Our guides and drivers, throughout, were fantastic, so friendly, knowledgeable, thoughtful and polite.

It is the oldest park in Assam, and it covers 430 square kilometres between the Karbi Ang long hills in the south and the Brahmaputra River in the north. The park area and tea estates, which are surrounded by table-top tea bushes, are on the National Highway 37. The Park is on the list of World Heritage Sites, and in 1974, it was made a national park. The landscape is made up of dense forest, tall elephant grass, rough reeds, marshes, and shallow pools.

Jeep safaris to the national park in the morning and afternoon. The Lodge serves breakfast and lunch.

Kaziranga National Park is one of the few places left in eastern India where people haven’t changed the environment. It is home to the most one-horned rhinoceroses in the world, as well as tigers, elephants, water buffalo, gaurs, leopard cats, otters, and monitor lizards, among other mammals. The flamingo, the crane, the grey-headed fishing eagle, the whistling teal, the crested serpent eagle, the open-billed stork, the swamp partridge, the osprey, the cormorant, the heron, and the marsh harrier are all birds that are often seen. At the resort, we had dinner and stayed the night.

Day 06 : In Singalila National Park

After breakfast, wildlife moves around Habre’s Nest in the morning. Go birding with an in-house studio set up for birds. Later, go look for the Red Panda, which takes an entire day, with breaks in between. Depending on the activities, food will be served at the homestay or on the fields.

Some of the most valuable and interesting plants and animals live in the jungles in the east. West Bengal’s Singalila National Park is one of these hidden gems in the east. The park, which opened in 1986, is one of the few places on Earth where you can see Red Pandas.

Kanchenjunga Massif looks like it is on fire from the clear blue sky above the park. Every turn brings a pleasant surprise of nature and beautiful scenery. In the Eastern Himalayas, you can see the mountains from Nepal to Bhutan in their natural state.

You might get tired of taking pictures with your DSLR, but the park will never stop giving you beautiful views and natural wonders to look at. Wildlife photographers, nature lovers, and people who like to try new things will love it.

Stay the night at Habre’s Nest.

Habre’s Nest is a place to stay.

Day 07-09: In Singalila National Park

Follow the same plan as the day before. After breakfast, go out to look for rare and exotic Red Pandas and watch birds.

Habre’s Nest is a joint project between India and Nepal to promote sustainable tourism around the Red Panda and help protect it. The Red Panda and its habitat are in danger in this world, which is pushing them closer to extinction. We all need to work together to save them, because a better part of our world depends on it. Habre’s Nest cares about this cause and gives 20% of its profits to help protect the Red Panda and its habitat.

Habre’s Nest is where all of us, about 15 people who made the Homestay themselves, live. It also keeps an eye on the Red Panda habitat around it to help protect them and learn more about them. Without a doubt, the best trackers out there, with a 100% success rate so far. Who would be a better host? Each member of the house is different and always ready to give you an exclusive experience.

A homestay that gives the best Red Panda tour experience above 10,000 feet on the border between India (Singalila) and Nepal (Illam). At Habre’s Nest, guests are part of a villager’s home and can see how they live, which is different from resorts and lodges.

Tinchule-Singalila is a great place to watch birds. There are more than 300 kinds of birds here. It has a long list of rare birds, such as the Blood Pheasant, Satyr Tragopan, Kalij Pheasant, Brown and Fulvous Parrotbills, Rufous-vented Tit, Old World babblers like the Fire-tailed Myzornis and the Golden-breasted Fulvetta, Rosefinches, bull finches, Wran Babblers, Laughingthrushes, Nuthatchs, Treecre Sandakhphu top is the highest point in West Bengal and has the best view of Kangchenjunga, which is also called “Sleeping Buddha” or “Sleeping Shiva.” This is one of the best places to see the sunrise and sunset.

All meals and a place to sleep are provided at Habre’s Nest.
